You need to write:

  • A file.htm file, written with Notepad or Eclipse text editor. It should be a simple html file that invokes a Java applet in its body. In needs to have html tags. It should have header tags with a title tag in it. It needs to have body tags, with an applet tag pair in it, to invoke your applet. The book describes all these.
  • One or more .class files created by Eclipse when you create an applet. You can use Eclipse window builder to build a swing applet. You can test it in the Eclipse IDE. When it is working the way you want, copy over all the .class files from the .bin folder of your Eclipse workspace.
