EcoMed 7-25

You have been asked to create a form to enter in the names and address of new interns.

• Open the database start file named EcoMed-7-25. Enable Content in the Security Warning bar. Save the Database as your initialsEcoMed-7-25. Make sure the Navigation Pane is open.
• Using the Form Wizard, create a Columnar form using the fields FirstName, LastName, Street, City, State, and ZipCode from tblInterns.
• Save the form as frmInterAddress.
• Delete the labels for Street, City, State, and ZipCode.
• Move the State and ZipCode text boxes next to the City text box so that the address resembles the address on a mail label.
• Delete the label that the wizard placed in the top of the form. Add a title control that reads EcoMed Intern’s Address.
• Add a label on the left section of the Form Footer. Key Prepared by: [your full name].
• Only show the record for intern “Ben Kyle.”
• Save the form. Do not close it.
• Export the Access form to an Excel workbook for grading in SimGrader.
  • With the frmInterAddress form still open, click the External Data tab.
  • In the Export group, click the Excel button. The Export wizard opens.
  • In the Export window, verify that the Export data with formatting and layout check box is checked. If necessary, click the box to add the checkmark.
  • Click the Browse button. Navigate to your desktop.
  • In the File Name box, type the new file name your initialsAccess-7-25.
  • Click the Save button. Click OK. Click Close, to close the Export wizard.
  • Save and close the Database.
• Submit the Excel file to SimGrader.
  • Do not open the Excel file before submitting.
