Programming Languages Discussion

Let us look at other programming languages. Some programming languages are for niche markets and you do not typically see them, while some are widely used. Using the library, peer-reviewed journals, and/or the Internet, research the language of your choice selected from the list below. Write a report, including at least three references. The course textbook and/or course notes will not count toward the minimum required references. Use appropriate APA formatting guidelines.

Topic choices:

• R programming (for statistical computing)
• Python (general approach to data science)
• Go (developed by Google)
• Kotlin (mobile app development for Android)
• TypeScript (similar to JavaScript, but more powerful)

The report should include the following aspects:

• What is the history of the language?
• What type of programming is the language?
• What market areas is the language used for?
• Examples of where the public may have seen the language used.

If you use additional resources to help in developing your discussion post, be sure to provide proper citation for your source. Generally speaking, your responses should be two to three paragraphs (about 300 to 400 words).
