This is the midpoint for your SDP Project. The PD in Step 4 will describe the process for users to input information. Then the PD will describe what the results should be. Does the result match what is expected?

In this step, you need to continue to refine how our user interacts with the programs you are designing, by means of the data the user wants to manipulate.

This also is a good opportunity to review the project so far. Were any items deferred until later that you want to add now? By this point, your program should be running allowing input from and output to the user.

This activity will require you to assume various "roles" in the development process. Each member of the group your instructor has placed you in will assume the role of both the PD and the AD.

In your role as PD, post your current "SDP Project step work" (RAPTOR file) as early as possible so your AD(s) (other group members) can evaluate your work.

Post

In your role as the Principle Developer (PD), post your current "SDP Project step work" (RAPTOR file) by Day Four of the module and answer the following questions:

  • How do our IPO refinements affect our design, at what key processes?
  • What functions did you "stub out" in earlier designs that you can now develop more completely?

Write out a scenario of a user inputting data and what they should expect. In your role as PD, post your current "SDP Project step work" by Day Four of the module.
