Before you begin to work on the next step of the SDP Project in this module, incorporate the comments and suggestions from the Structured Walkthrough. Once you have completed that task, complete Step 6.

Continue with the work started last week, adding details and additional logic as necessary. You are also able to take your early thoughts about "filing the data away" and updating those. Use RAPTOR or pseudocode "prototypes" if you wish to spell these out and check your design assumptions.

In your role as PD, post your current "SDP Project step work" (RAPTOR file) as early as possible so your AD(s) (other group members) can evaluate your work.

Post

In your role as the Principle Developer (PD), post your current "SDP Project step work" (RAPTOR file) by Day Four of the module and answer the following questions:

  • How do those assumptions from earlier (Steps 2 & 3) translate into design logic?
  • How do our IPO refinements affect your design?
  • What functions did you "stub out" in your earlier designs and can now develop more completely? Looking ahead: what do these data structures and their use suggest about "retention" of information (in files)?

In your role as PD, post your current "SDP Project step work" by Day Four of the module.
